Eco-Print Workshop: Fresh Flowers on SILK @ Camp Clay Studio

In this natural dye eco-printing class, you'll learn how to create crisp + vibrant one-of-a-kind prints on a buttery silk scarf using fresh dye flowers from my garden. Through the process of intuitive design and steaming, you'll extract natural colors and detailed patterns from the just-picked petals and foliage, creating beautiful, wearable art. This hands-on workshop is a perfect way to connect with nature, explore sustainable dyeing methods, and create your very own floral-kissed scarf to wear all year long!

All materials provided and no experience is needed.

Class Flow: We will discuss dye flowers, mordants and layout ideas for the first 20 minutes, then once the workshop portion begins, you will get access to bouquets of morning harvest florals and ample time to lay them out on your scarf while your creativity churns and discussions course through the stunning space of Camp Clay Studio!

Every flower is specifically grown for natural dyeing to promote long lasting, bright colors — which means you can’t go wrong! Steam time takes approximately 20 minutes, then we head outside to reveal our creations together!
